Investor · Technologist · Writer
I've spent 25 years watching how markets actually work — as a tech founder, an investor, and now a writer. Most financial thinking is reactive. Mine isn't. The agentic economy, the Gen Z wealth reset, the collapse of old financial frameworks — I write about these before they arrive, because I helped build the systems they're disrupting.
"Money without purpose is just a number getting smaller."

The old wealth playbook was written for a world that no longer exists. Here's what the new one looks like — and why most advisors haven't read it yet.

How I read the world
Three principles behind everything I write and every investment I make.

Most financial commentary explains what just happened. I'm not interested in that. My practice is to understand where systems are going before markets price it in. This comes from 25 years of building technology, not watching it. The agentic economy isn't a future trend — it's infrastructure already being laid. I write about it now.
01
Every major market shift of the last 30 years has had a technology driver underneath it. I read that layer first — because I've worked in it. Agentic AI is the current one. Most investors are still reading the surface.
02
I've watched brilliant people — engineers, doctors, executives — make identical decisions under financial pressure. The numbers tell you where things are. Human behaviour tells you where they're going. I track both.
03
Short-termism is the one structural inefficiency that never goes away. Everyone knows it. Almost nobody can hold the long view under pressure. I've spent 25 years practising it — and building tools for people who want to do the same.
From the lens to your numbers
The essays tell you how the world is shifting. The Lens tells you how to read it. CoPilot is where you put that thinking to work — not as a passive observer, but as someone running their own numbers, making their own decisions, watching the long-run consequences of each one.
Read
The essays give you the macro context — where capital is moving, where the old frameworks are breaking, and what the agentic economy means for wealth that needs to survive thirty more years.
Model
CoPilot takes your income, your expenses, and your risk stance — and shows you what your surplus becomes across four time-horizon buckets. Adjust the sliders. Watch the compound effect. No email. No sales loop.
Decide
The goal of every tool here is the same as the goal of every essay: to give you a framework, not a dependency. The model suggests. The rationale explains. You decide. That's what financial independence actually looks like — not a number in a portfolio, but the ability to read the map yourself.
A free tool for independent thinkers
The capital allocator. Most advisors drive your portfolio for you — this gives you the navigation system.
Enter your monthly income, your essential expenses, and your risk stance. CoPilot splits your investable surplus across four time-horizon buckets — Runway, Flexibility, Core Engine, and Asymmetric — and projects what each allocation becomes over time, using benchmark return assumptions for each category.
Move the sliders. Watch the long-run numbers change. Read the rationale behind each shift. This is a tool for building your own intuition about allocation — not a product, not a recommendation, not a sales funnel.
No email. No login. No data stored. Just your numbers and what they mean over time.
How it works
Projections use indicative benchmark returns for each category. They are illustrative, not guaranteed. This tool is for self-education only.
About
The world your wealth was built in no longer exists. De-globalisation, permanent tariff regimes, war-driven commodity repricing, AI rewriting entire industries overnight — these are not temporary dislocations. They are the new operating system. Most financial advice is still running on the old one.
Thirty years in global markets—starting in the late-90s US tech expansion—taught me that real wealth isn't built on predictions, but on system resilience. I turn three decades of market cycle lessons into clean, dynamic frameworks so you can navigate modern volatility with clarity, independence, and total control.
The question I work on is not what to buy. It is what the world is actually doing — and what that means for capital that needs to survive thirty more years of it. Inflation that arrives in waves, not tides. Liquidity that is promised but not delivered. Paper returns that dissolve the moment you need them to be real.
The essays are where I think in public. If they resonate, the rest follows naturally.
